The third book in the Rachael morgan series. I have just started this book and so far Rachael's life is getting better and worse at the same time. She has temporarily outwitted Big Al but at the same time Nick is pulling away from her. The characters continue to hold my interest and the story continues to be good. Rachael continues to grow and life for her improves but not without cost.

This is the second book in the Rachael Morgan series and revolves around the witch hunter killings. Ley line witches are being killed in very gruesome ways and the FIB (Federal Interland Bureau) has come to Rachael for her help in tracking the killer down. This book keeps the same energy and humor of the previous book and continues to grow the characters. We get a lot more insight into the past of both Rachael and Ivy as well as deeper look into their private lives. This series continues to please and I would recommend it anyone who like this genre and to most people who don't.

Dead witch walking is the first book in the Rachel Morgan series. With this series Kim Harrison has created a world that has been completely changed by a tomato the T4 Angel tomato to be exact. In this world the quest for genetically engineered food and medicine resulted in a deadly virus escaping from a lab and attaching itself to the genetic structure of a strain of tomatoes and doing a fairly good job of wiping people out. Interlanders (vampires, witches, weres and other supernatural beings) have lived amongst us since the dawn of time blending in with the rest of humanity. During the angel virus outbreak they show themselves openly. Initially people are scared and want to wipe them all out but after it becomes apparent that the interlanders were the only thing that kept society going during the outbreak and that they helped stop the outbreak an uneasy truce has resulted and the world moves on. In this world Rachael is a Runner, a person who investigates paranormal crimes and runs down the offenders. This book is well written with a good plot and believable characters that you will come to love or hate as the situation requires.
