Stanley #95 Marking GaugeI found this at the same yard sale I found the #68, so the cost for this was roughly $0.50. Here is what it looked like when I bought it. I apologize for the poor picture - it was cropped out of a picture that shows the entire haul for that yardsale.
Well, it looks kind of rough in the picture above, but really there was just alot of grime and a little bit of surface rust. A short amount of time with a Scotchbrite pad and some wax and it is good as new as you can see from the pictures below.
As you can see about 95% of the nickle is still intact. I searched the web and this unit, in this condition, sells for about $40 -50. |
